Abstract:
This paper presents a mathematical model of electro hydraulic servo system (EHS) using two-stage electrohydraulic servovalve by the aim of Matlab-simulink-simscape multibody which facilitate the simulation of the hydraulic behaviour inside the main control unit “electro hydraulic servovalve” (EHSV). It includes establishing the mathematical model, controller model and validating the result with an experimental data, then investigate the effect of impurities on the hydraulic behaviour inside the (EHSV) and consequently the effect on the position tracking behaviour. Data of servo valve with position feedback (-10 to 10 V) made by Rexroth Bosch is used in this study. The effect of impurities was investigated by changing the servovalve orifice diameter (0.25, 0.30, and 0.35) mm. The results show that by increasing the orifice diameter of the servovalve it leads to increasing the transient time but decreasing the system overshoot. The pressure behaviour is plotted and shows that increasing the orifice diameter leads to increasing the pressure inside the system as to reach the relieve pressure.
